Michelle Obama Garden Tour
First Lady Michelle Obama takes our Jason Shoultz on a more detailed tour of the White House kitchen garden, and they encounter an amazing array of crops. Mrs. Obama provides fascinating detail about the extensive planning behind the creation of the garden, and gives us insights into which fruits and vegetables have become the most popular with White House chefs, visitors, and the First Family.

White House Harvest and Dining
Using food from the garden and elsewhere, the White House kitchen can serve up to 140 people for dinner or more than a thousand for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Oh, one more fact. Keeping the White House "white" requires more than 550 gallons of paint to paint the outside walls.
