Episode 714 - NASA Cattle Farm addthis
NASA Cattle Farm
Call it an unusual combination of high tech aeronautics and ranching! The Shaw family has been working their Illinois farm for more than two hundred years. But in addition to the grass fed cattle you’ll find on their ranch, you’ll also find a high-tech manufacturing operation.

The “Flying S Ranch” uses computers and sophisticated equipment to design airplane parts. The Shaw family says the arrangement gives them a chance to enjoy life in the country while helping to facilitate airplane travel for the future.
